Here you go Jess,
This is a list of breeding principles/rules written by Raymond Oppenheimer, an influential Bullterrier breeder and dog man.
Personally, I believe this simple list can help anyone achieve better dogs in any breed.

Do I understand well??? Inbreeding is a good tool???
Please help me to understand?

10. Inbreeding is a valuable tool, being the fastest method to set good characteristics and type. It brings to light hidden traits that need to be eliminated from the breed.

Otherwise, it's a good link!

Yes, when used Properly.
Line/in-breeding is the fastest way to bring out positives and (possibly hidden) negatives that the dogs may carry. There is a great book I mentioned a few threads down....Pick it up Marie-Pier....You will love it!!

Mmmm...line/in-breeding...ok but direct and reapeted inbreeding...no
I mean, in the pork and lacting cow industries, they have figured that more than 6.25% of blood relations can cause several problems(fertility, health and temperement)
Where is the limit, the line, when we are talking about dog breeding?

Marie

That is the Ultimate catch RIGHT there!!
It is up to the breeder...Some countries have laws about tightly using it.
IMO it shouldn't be used unless you have about 3 generations IN YOUR HOUSE of these dogs...You need to know the lines used inside and out....It is Not an art, but a science.
Study Study Study...And take your time!
